OBJECTIVE: Demonstrate my ability to:
- Navigate 3D viewports and the Blender interface
- Identify the basic modeling tools
- Model a 3D heart using NURBS surfaces
DOCUMENTS:
BACKGROUND: Blender is a free 3D graphics application that can be used for modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, rigging, water and smoke simulations, skinning, animating, rendering, particle and other simulations, non-linear editing, compositing, and creating interactive 3D applications, including video games, animated film, or visual effects.
- In 3D computer graphics, 3D modeling (also known as meshing) is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional surface of object (either inanimate or living) via specialized software. The product is called a 3D model. It can be displayed as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering or used in acomputer simulation of physical phenomena
ASSIGNMENT: After watching the six BlenderCookie.com introduction videos, you will be creating the following 3D models:
Use the videos to your advantage, re-watch all areas that you are having trouble with, this is the great thing about having these training videos!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Use NURBS surfaces
- P3_LastFirst_Heart.blend
