The Walk Cycle is a 9 frame animation that creates the illusion of a continuous walk from an animated character. Students were required to recreate these 9 scenes to create a character walking in place for at least ten seconds. Difficulties were keeping the character consistent as well as creating the flow of walking. Another difficulty was the illusion of the head bob. Though it is slight in human beings, it is still there, so our animators made it more able to be noticed. Overall, the walk cycles came out in many variations, but all were done to the best effort. Don’t be fooled, these animations are actually walking with just 9 scenes.

One animation of someone walking, but all the varieties in music, view, and background make each video unique. Very creative!
This stuff is pretty cool, i like how its so musically adaptive. You can put a random song in there and it works
The one with the orange backdrop is by far the best.
