The Spanish for Spanish Speakers 3 students had to write a brief newscast. They were instructed to write an original event using the present tense. Students had 30 minutes to write the story, and present. The purpose of the activity was to focus on present tense narration, and presentation skills.

My AP Spanish Language students researched the background of some famous/legendary/important Hispanics. They worked as a group to put together a PowerPoint (served as background information) and they had the option to do their own interpretation of some part of the person’s life or write a scene where they interviewed that person.

Welcome back Pioneers to the 2011-2012 school year! Last year was a really good year but let’s plan on making this year ten times better. Get involved with sports, clubs and after school activities.
